How It Works - 3 Simple Steps

Step 1 - Choose your images: Click the upload area or drag and drop JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO or SVG images. Add more by using the button or dropping them on the preview area. Each file can be up to 10 MiB and 16 megapixels; a batch can contain up to 10 files and 32 megapixels. Previews fit inside the upload frame without cropping; their display size does not resize the source file.

Step 2 - Choose the output: Select one of the eight formats shown in the tool. The Compression (%) slider adjusts encoder quality for JPG and WebP; it does not control PNG, ICO, SVG, TIFF, BMP or GIF encoding.

Step 3 - Download and review: Click convert, wait for processing to finish, then download and open the new file to confirm the format, transparency, animation, and visible quality meet your needs.

Supported Image Formats

All eight output choices create files in the selected format. The tool checks each file's signature and reads the result before offering a download. Some input variants and browser encoders can still fail with a clear error.

JPG/JPEG: Perfect for photographs and complex images with many colors. Ideal for web use due to small file sizes with good quality.

PNG: Best for images requiring transparency, graphics, and screenshots. Maintains quality without compression artifacts, making it perfect for logos and web graphics.

WebP: A modern web image format. File size depends on the source image and quality setting; compare the result with your original.

GIF: Creates a real, single-frame GIF with a 256-color palette. If the source is animated, only one frame is converted. GIF output is limited to 4 megapixels.

BMP: Creates a 24-bit BMP. Transparent areas become white.

TIFF: Creates an uncompressed RGB TIFF. Transparent areas become white; this output may be larger than the source. Common TIFF input compressions are decoded in the browser where supported.

ICO: Creates an icon file containing PNG data. Images larger than 256 pixels are reduced to fit within 256 × 256; check small-size legibility.

SVG: Creates a valid SVG document with the converted raster image embedded. It does not trace pixels into editable vector paths.
